Labor Wage Boost. Good or Bad?

Just days in 2019’s Federal Election, both parties are making promises to attract the votes of Australia’s communities. Labor leader, Bill Shorten, is vowing to boost the minimum wage of skilled overseas workers to prevent them being used as cheap replacements for local workers.

But some oppose the idea that this will actually assist unemployed Australians. James Pearson, CEO of Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, spoke with us earlier about this topic.
