Having identified as an Atheist for many years Jess Klajman has decided to officially denounce her faith and remove herself from the Catholic Church. But what how does someone officially leave one of the most powerful institutions in the world? We all know that individuals can be ex-communicated from the church by the powers that be, but can parishioners decide to formally leave the church themselves?
