Maori Musical Instruments

We all have come across the term ‘music to my years’ and therein lies the mystery – what is it about music, that evokes a sense of other worldliness within us all?  Music has many ways of enchanting our sense of being and transcends that which word cannot penetrate – Puoro Jerome carries within his soul, the healing ancestral sounds and stories, whose origins are steeped in Maori culture.  Puoro has mastered a number of traditional Maori instruments, enabling him to emanate enchanting sounds, inspired by nature’s rhythms and his cultural roots.  Puoro will be performing in Sydney.
