Mark Forbes – on Beautiful Solitude
Photographer Mark Forbes is best known for his atmospheric street scenes, urban landscapes and structures. His online exhibition “Beautiful Solitude” is featured at both the 2020 Head On Photo Festival and Stanley Street Gallery. The Daily Producer Alice Allen spoke with Mark about his inspiration for the series, working on 35mm and medium format film, and the incredible knack photography has for showing us new ways of looking at the world.
