Medications are Costing More for Australians

Do you ever feel like you are paying too much for prescription medicine? Well a report from the Grattan institute has come to the conclusion that “Australians pay too much for prescription drugs”. Additionally it suggests that the government could both save money and lower prices on medicine if they were to implement a more effective policy of benchmarking. The Daily was joined by Health Program Director at the Grattan Institute, Stephen Duckett to discuss this report.
