The Expressionists is a new podcast series exploring the stories behind the everyday vocab, idioms and slang that decorate our speech. Co-hosted by 2ser’s own Olivia Rosenman and Helen Rydstrand, the episodes are released fortnightly and are sure to delight word nerds of all stripes.

Helen and Olivia came by to give Nic a cake and then demonstrate their considerable skills by telling him how the expression ‘take the cake’ came about.
