Meta’s news removal will threat small publishers

Meta’s potential removal of news from Facebook and Instagram, will hurt smaller publishers and diverse voices.

Many smaller publishers don’t get funding and rely on website ads.

With the already struggling newsroom spaces, Claire Stuchbery from Local and Independent Media Association says the government should help these publishers stay important in Australian democracy.
