Meth users lacking confidence to seek treatment

A study from the University of Western Australia has found that for many methamphetamine users seeking treatment, the biggest barriers is the embarrassment or stigma, or perceiving that help is not needed. Considering the huge impact meth has to many people in Australia, we ask: what can be done to stop this stigma?

We spoke to Craig Cumming, from The University of Western Australia’s School of Population Health and leader of this study.
