Migrant Workers Denied Employee Protections

Under the Fair Entitlement Guarantee, Australian citizens and permanent residents are entitled to up to 13 weeks unpaid wages, plus annual and sick leave, for companies that go bankrupt.
But a legal loophole in the agreement has left thousands of migrant workers with unpaid wages, despite the government agreeing in principle to include them in employee protections.
