More men end up in hospital

Falling accounts for more than a third of male hospitalisations, and according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, adult Australian Men made up more than half of injury hospitalisations and emergency department injuries during 2021-22.

35% of these injury hospitalisations are due to falls.  Why are falls so often to blame?
