National Carers Week brings over 3 million unpaid carers into the spotlight

This week is National Carers Week which aims to highlight the work of 3 million un-paid carers and acknowledging the positive impact they have on communities.

Curtis McGrath was a soldier in the Australian Defence force when he stepped on a land mine, losing both his legs in Afghanistan.

Mr McGrath has since won 3 gold medals in canoeing at the Paralympics and says his physical and mental recovery is thanks to those closest to him.
