National Close the Gap Day is a falacy: Lidia Thorpe

Today is National Close the Gap Day to raise awareness about the inequality issues between First Nations People and non-Indigenous Australians.

But each year, there’s a new Close the Gap report released, but no action. Victorian Senator Lidia Thorpe wants the Federal government to listen to First Nations people and act on the systemic inequality between Aboriginal and Torres Strait people and non-Indigenous Australians.
