New Railway to Bankstown

The NSW state government has proposed the Sydenham to Bankstown trainline called the Urban Renewal Corridor. The line will run through Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, Hurlstone Park, Canterbury, Campsie, Belmore, Lakemba, Wiley Park and Punchbowl, and around it will be re-zoned, mid-rise apartments. The residents of Dulwich Hill who strongly oppose the plans have formed an action group called Save Dully. Nic had a chat to Angel Ioannou to discuss what it means for residents.
