New ways to sustainably manage African water resources

Scientists at Digital Earth Africa work to use satellite imagery to study water resources on the African continent.

The information assists countries in Africa to make more informed decisions about soil and coastal erosion, agriculture, deforestation, desertification, water quality and changes to human settlements.

The Wire spoke to the Lead Scientist at Digital Earth Africa for to learn more about this technology.
