Nightmare work conditions for Vietnamese migrants

Up to half a million Vietnamese migrants are employed in foreign countries, with nearly 90,000 seeking work through migration each year.

Many of these migrants are required to pay a fee to find such work, only to end up having their passports confiscated, working ridiculously long hours and going without pay they were promised.

Sarah Kaine and Emmanuel Josserand from the UTS Business School spoke with Jake Morcom about their research and time spent in Malaysia with the Vietnamese migrants.
