NSW Accepts All 76 Bushfire Inquiries

Last summer’s almost endless rage of bushfires brought the world’s attention to Australia. This week the NSW Government has accepted all 76 bushfire inquiry recommendations to investigate the bushfires from early this year. Premier Gladys Berejiklian said her Government would adopt all of them. Some of these recommendations include compulsory land clearings, nighttime water bombing, and aggressive hazard reduction burning.

2SER spoke with Mark Maund from the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Newcastle about some of these recommendations.
