Why Are Old Industrial Diseases Returning?

These days many  of us would be unfamiliar with diseases like black lung and silicosis, old industrial diseases that have mostly disappeared. That is until now. Recently cases of such diseases have been unearthed in Australia, with even relatively young workers falling victim. The perpetrator? Things found in many of our own bathrooms and kitchens. To tell us more about this issue we spoke to Sydney Morning Herald Workplace editor, Anna Patty.
