Opioid treatment in correctional facilities important: research

Research led by the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre have released findings that Opioid Agonist Treatment, or O.A.T., can greatly help those suffering from Opioid Addiction in Correctional Facilities.

The study review shows that O.A.T. can significantly reduce deaths in prison and post-release.
