Oscars So White – So What Now?

This year’s Oscars opened with host Chris Rock exclaiming ‘you’re damn right Hollywood’s racist!’. Mark Ruffalo and Brie Larson also joined the ranks of a number of nominees in calling for more diversity.

There has been an ongoing furore over the large number of predominantly white Oscar nominations.

We’re joined by Dr Bruce Isaacs from the Department of Art History and Film Studies at University of Sydney to discuss diversity in the film industry.
