Outrage over NSW Parliament Speaker

In a recent question time at NSW Parliament, the behaviour of the Speaker of the House, Shelley Hancock, provoked controversy by calling some Labor MPs ‘blockheads’ and ‘idiots’ and even accusing them of being drunk.

While there has been a call for her resignation, others believe that some of the members in the chamber do appear drunk and abusive.
