Paralympic Aspirations

Hayley Slocombe joined us during Australian Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week to talk about her aspirations to become a Paralympic wheelchair tennis player and her struggles juggling training and study.

Hayley is in her second year of a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Education and an elite sportsperson. She is the recipient of  the SpineCare Thomas K.F. Taylor Scholarship for tertiary education and is tipped to represent Australia as a Paralympian.
