Increasing numbers of parents think ‘later is better’ when it comes to sending their children to school with almost 15% of Australian parents deciding to delay sending their children to school – about three times the rate of that in the US.

So why are parents deciding to delay sending their kids to school?

To find out more, we were joined by Dr Amanda Mergler, registered psychologist and education expert at the Queensland University of Technology.
