The Voluntary Assisted Dying Act has been submitted for consideration to NSW and Victorian parliaments. Ellie Madritsch looked at what the bill will mean, and also more broadly, at what dying means to society, in the hopes of getting a better understanding of why euthanasia is such a heated topic.
