Pop-Up Globe pops up in Sydney

An exact replica of Shakespeare’s famous Globe Theatre has popped up in Sydney and is offering Sydneysiders and visitors the chance to experience four of Shakespeare’s plays, as they would have been performed when the bard himself was alive. The season, which runs until early November, features A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors. To tell us more about the history of the Globe and what we can expect from the presence of a replica here in Sydney, we were joined by  Dr Miles Gregory, creator and artistic director of the Pop-Up Globe.
