PREMIERE: Adelaide outfit THE WAR ROOM deliever a devastating new single

Coming out of Kaurna (Adelaide) post-punk outfit The War Room have entered 2024 with all guns blazing on their new single The Top Floor.

Following on from the chaos of 2023’s double singles of Pumpkins / The Trouble With Me,  the five piece have dialed it up a notch, and offer-up a taster of what’s to come on their debut album slated for release later this year.

Working with Tom Spall at Milestone Records on Peramangk Country/Summertown The War Room stay true to their deeply cemeted post-punk roots. with The Top Floor churning along at breakneck speed. shooting of math-rock laced licks and musically inquisitive breakdowns that is sure to convert the inverts. If yourstill along for the ride you’ll find yourself brimming with musical anxiety as the finale builds to a cacophony of red-lining guitars, squealing violin admist the pained cries of anguish .
