Get On Down to Putney Beach!

If you need a new swimming spot to stay cool this summer, the City of Ryde has recently opened launched Putney Beach at Putney Park.

Putney Beach is the latest in a growing network of swimming spots along the Parramatta River. The new swimming spot was launched with support from the State Government’s ‘Places to Swim’ grant, the Parramatta River Catchment Group and of course by the City of Ryde.

City of Ryde Mayor Trenton Brown spoke to Danny on 2SER Breakfast to chat about the beach opening, where he revealed he was among the first to jump in!
