Recycling and responsible donation of clothing

As we head into the warmer months a lot of us might do some spring cleaning, possibly a little cull of winter wardrobe.
Charitable Organisations made the news in mid-2020 ago about simply not being able to keep up with the amount of clothing donations.

While its easy and compassionate to donate old clothes, what do you do with old socks, undies and alike?
