Roadside births in the hundreds as rural health services decline

No mum-to-be wants to give birth on the side of the road. But, this is the reality for many women living in regional and rural areas.

With the list of health service closures growing, Queensland’s rural maternity crisis is putting the lives of women and babies at risk.
