Rwandan Genocide – Remembered 30 Years On

April 7 marks the 30 years since the Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi, also known as Kwibuka – a day of mourning and reflection for Rwandans across the world.

In 1994, more than a million people were killed in just 100 days, and is now remembered as one of the darkest tragedies in world history.

On Sunday, Rwandans in Australia gathered at Parliament House to commemorate the date.
