Sam McCool: from stand up to Lighten Up

Sam McCool is well known to audiences around the world for his sharp brand of stand up comedy — but right now he’s showing off his writing chops. Working with actor Nicholas Brown, the pair are the mind behind a comedic play that audiences are loving. “Lighten Up” looks at racial identity in Australia through the life of a Indian-Australian actor.
