Saudi Film Nights: Bringing Saudi Stories to Australia

Screening for one night only in Sydney and in Melbourne is Saudi Film Nights. Saudi Film Commission has partnered with Blacksand Pictures, an Australian production company, to bring Saudi stories and productions to Australian audiences.

In 2023 Hajjan premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and Me & Adayrous premiered at the Aspen Shortsfest. 2SER spoke with Producer Majed Z. Samman, and Actor Ida Alkusay about the growing film industry in Saudi Arabia and these complex and nuanced stories being showcased.
