“Scent of Mystery” starring Denholm Elliot and Peter Lorre was a film that came out in 1960 with a bit of a twist: scents pumped into the cinema for a “smell-o-vision” experience! Now a team of smell-experts have endeavored to recreate and improve those smells. After a successful screening at TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood this year, “Scent of Mystery” is on its way to Australia. Nic spoke with event producer Tammy Burnstock about the process of bringing this unique piece of cinema history back to life.
