Scientist behind first CRISPR Babies speaks at Hong Kong summit

The second international summit of genome editing took place last week in Hong Kong, among the speakers was the Chinese scientist behind the controversial first ever case of humans born with edited genomes. To explain the controversy, Professor Merlin Crossley a CRISPR scientist from UNSW who was in attendance at the summit joined Drive’s Victor Petrovic.
