Self Driving Uber Kills Woman

A woman was killed in Tempe, Arizona when she was struck by a self-driving Uber while crossing the road, outside of the pedestrian crossing. The car was in autonomous mode with a driver behind the wheel. The company has since suspended their autonomous vehicle program across North America. Professor Michael Milford from the Queensland University of Technology discussed the future of self-driving technology.
