Senator is asking the government to halve the fuel excise

Soaring petrol prices are putting the squeeze on many people around Australia.

With prices regularly jumping above $2 per litre, Independent Senator Rex Patrick is calling on Prime Minister Scott Morrison to temporarily halve the fuel excise.
