3MT: How Climate Change Is Impacting Small Businesses (With Nazanin Sadeghi)

Climate change is becoming a bigger problem for the planet every day, with more extreme weather events and natural disasters leading to damage and destruction of environments, houses, and businesses. Small businesses make up 97% of all businesses in Australia and are the most vulnerable to this extreme weather, so how can they better prepare themselves for the risks of climate change in the future? Nazanin Sadeghi has done extensive research into this topic and joined us on The Tuesday Daily to speak more about it.

Nazanin took part in the 3 Minute Thesis competition that challenges PHD students to turn their research into just a three minute speech. Over many weeks, Nazanin condensed her thesis on small businesses resilience to climate change into a speech that won her first place in the Macquarie University Business School!
