Social Media Ban for under 16s

On December 10, world-first legislation restricting Australian children’s access to social media platforms will come into effect.

The “social media ban” (as it has become known) has been much debated – if it will work, how it will work; if it will protect kids, if it will harm kids; what platforms are included, what platforms should be included.
