Somos by Sydney Dance Company

After a sold-out season in 2023, Sydney Dance Company’s Somos is back for an encore season in Sydney. By Artistic Director Rafael Bonachela, Somos is a tender and powerful piece with a distinctly Spanish essence. Translating to “we are” in Spanish Somos redefines the traditional boundaries between the audience and dancers, and dancer between dancer through duets and trios performed in the round. 

It’s on at the Sydney Dance Company’s Neilson Studio from the 27th March – 13th April. Sydney Dance Company Dancer and performer in Somos, Mia Thompson joined Danny in the studio on 2SER Breakfast.
