Songs and Survival – Liz Stringer on 2SER Breakfast

Liz Stringer is an award-winning songwriter, musician and more.
Self-managed and maintaining a dedicated artistic practice which has spawned seven full-length original albums and countless recordings with side-projects and collaborators, Liz Stringer is in the midst of a 17-date national tour, a tour that’s hitting town this Saturday 6 December at Mary’s Underground.
This is not just any tour. It’s an opportunity for Stringer to showcase her most recent album, The Second High, but this tour, The To Survive Tour, is also a campaign, raising awareness about the housing crisis affecting the country and raising much-needed funds for Australia’s most vulnerable.
Audiences will be given the opportunity to donate a chosen amount directly to local community support organisation Will2Live, who provide meals and support for people struggling with homelessness in Sydney.
While in town, Liz Stringer dropped by the 2SER studios to chat with Danny on 2SER Breakfast about the intersection of art and making the world a better place.
