South Coast to so-called Sydney – Throwing Muses on 2SER Breakfast

Throwing Muses are one of the foundations of alternative rock.

Formed in 1983 by Kristin Hersh, Throwing Muses pioneered a new alternative sound, releasing a string of critically celebrated albums, the most recent of which is Moonlight Concessions, a favourite here at 2SER.

While Kristin is a regular visitor to our shores, Throwing Muses haven’t been to town since 2009. That’s all set to change – Throwing Muses will be playing the Factory Theatre on Saturday 6 December – tickets available now!

On the eve of what promises to be a rollicking show, Kristen Hersh joined Danny on 2SER Breakfast to shout the words ‘Gulf of Mexico’ to the universe.
