Hands up for Lifeguard

2SER Static host Berko talks to Chicago’s limber noise-rock lads Lifeguard about their eagerly-awaited debut album, the raucous “Ripped and Torn”.

Guitarist and vocalist Kai explains how they all met while playing in other bands at a festival, recalls why getting electrocuted on-stage felt like the point they became a serious band, and reveals how they happily kept an accidental clanging noise on a song.
