Stories From Here: An Audio Tour of Bankstown

During Friday Drive, we caught up with Nicole Issa from youth arts organisation Outloud, and Safa Al-Bekaa one of the participants involved in their upcoming project. 

Outloud will be launching a new project in Bankstown called Stories From Here: An Audio Tour of Bankstown. 

It will feature recorded monologues by local young people ages 16-24, the tour explores their perspectives and experiences of the area. 

The participants were mentored by acclaimed author Kavita Bedford and dramaturg-director Finn Ó Branagáin. 

Join Outloud on Saturday May 18, to celebrate the launch and be guided through an immersive experience by the local young people of Bankstown.
