Submerged Ancient First Nations Areas Discovered

New research has discovered ancient First Nations occupation patterns on Barrow Island, near the North West Shelf, Western Australia.

50,000 years ago, Barrow Island was once a hill overseeing a coastal plain, before being cut off from the mainland due to rising sea levels.

So what makes these discoveries so interesting?
