Sydney’s Roadside Air Pollution Is 10 Times Worse Than Expected

It may seem like a distant memory but our social and working lives once revolved around busy Sydney streets. Have you ever considered the impact our roads have on air pollution? While it’s easy to imagine the impact as being quite high, you might be surprised to find out that currently, air quality monitoring at roadsides is considered to be inadequate. 

Today on The Daily, we spoke to Dr Hugh Forehead, a Research Fellow from the University of Wollongong, about a recently published report regarding Australia’s alarming road air quality.
