We caught up with Lid, known online as artbylid, to discuss their art inspirations, teenage fan culture, and her upcoming graphic novel. Lid also explains how the common queer experience of the ‘Second Adolescence’ is a key driving force behind her creativity, and how her art serves as a way to create nostalgia for the teenage experience that her and other queer people may not have gotten to participate in.
