Taxpayers subsidising private schools luxury facilities

With the beginning of the school year, The Australia Institute has highlighted the growing disparity between public and private school funding.

The Canberra think tank’s submission to a NSW inquiry into private school profits reveals that taxpayers are helping fund luxury private school facilities.

Tax-deductible donations to private school building funds are said to cost the Australian government millions of dollars annually in lost revenue.
