Everyone understands the importance of education, but often many people forget about the importance of educating the educators. How exactly are teachers equipped with the skills necessary to adequately conduct a classroom, whether they’re teaching kindergarteners or HSC-level students? Macquarie University, in collaboration with the Teachers TV Foundation Ltd. Have recently launched a new project, which has had great success. Teachers TV is a software platform initiative established in an aim to improve teacher competence within the classroom. Michael Cavanagh is the Director of the Secondary Teacher Education Program at Macquarie University, and joined Brooke on Drive to discuss this new technology.
