The Cancer Council and its LGBTQIA+ Information Booklet

While Sydney is currently experiencing Mardi Gras once again this year, it’s important to remember that while cancer doesn’t discriminate,  unfortunately many LGBTQIA+ people have been discriminated against while seeking treatment. The Cancer Council  – in conjunction with Western Sydney University – has produced a large, 80-page booklet to help them and their loved ones navigate cancer. the Council’s Chair of Information Subcommittee, Jenni Bruce was invited onto Drive to tell us more about the organisation’s work with this initiative.
