The Contribution of Female Italian Migrants

The legacy of Italian women migrants is chronicled in a new documentary that explores the contribution multiple generations would have upon Australian culture. The documentary La Signorinella: Little Miss profiles the struggle of migrant women and how they were able to find a way to use their cultural difference to reach the very of top of business, agriculture, fashion and the entertainment world.

Stephen Hill asked the film’s co-director what drove him to explore the contribution of Italian migrant women to Australia.
