The Dangers of Micro-Betting

A recent study has found that more than a third of frequent Australian sports gamblers are placing micro-bets through overseas betting agencies. Furthermore, the study also found a strong link between this dangerous form of sports betting and problem gambling. Alex Russell, Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at CQUniversity and one of the authors of the study joined is on The Daily to discuss his findings.
